Christina Hendricks should dress up as Power Girl
Tim Gunn, you sensible man you
@quixote22: Everyone can have their own opinion on Mr. Miracle, that’s fair. As for “this guy”, Tim is a friend, a genuine authority on fashion and also a fan of superheroes. And as he’s never been involved in sports wear, is not Canadian & was a college professor-then-dean from 1982 until a few years ago, I’m not sure what point you’re trying to make about him & design. & why not ask grandma? This show is about NO geek elitism. We can all enjoy whether we know Clark Kent’s middle name or not.
I dont care what anyone says. Mr. Miracle’s costume is what first attracted me to the character…he is one of my favorites! His action figure is sitting right next to my keyboard here.
Asking this guy about Super hero costumes is like talking to my grandmother about the same thing …who cares…he doesnt get it. It is people like him that gave us the 1982 Vancouver Canucks jersey.
That being said it is funny though to see what he says though. Love his head nod at 3:46….spatially perplexed
i am so cute, funny, and very very sexy, cam chat with me freely on Club1001 . INFO
thats my uncle im so proud of him lol hi uncle tim
@mwolfe3508 – Well, when I suggested it to him, Tim loved the idea. And if people support the show, either through word of mouth or donations, we’d be happy to do another team-up.
@CrowbarDoom – Tim and I are up for it, but “Crazy Sexy Geeks” needs donations to keep on going. Anyone reading this can go to PAYPAL and donate funds to KistlerAlan@gmail.com.
@ansiaaa666 Totally agree.
Both episodes were really good. I’d love to see Alan and Tim team up again.
it would have been interesting to see them re-design some of the costumes.
@CrazySexyGeeksSeries I wish there was a superhero named Super Hero
Ok, totally new to this series, liking it so far… oh my Lord how I love Tim Gunn talking about costumes! Catwoman’s in particular “Anne Miller”
Love love love. I am a fan just because you got Mr Gunn to talk to you about this.
Where does tim gunn buy his suits???????
@TheMrNamefag Hmm, well I have to admit, I don’t really know anything about Power Gild, but I gotta say, I like the name Galatea from JLU. But I wonder if seemingly generic names for superheroes is considered a trope of some sorts.
@DNAngel2009
Ok I’ll be fair. What name would you give her?
Edna. Mode.
This is the best thing out there
So, is Tim Gunn one of the coolest guys on the planet or what?
It’s awesome how Tim Gunn isn’t dismissive of the whole topic. He gives really great criticisms and comments. It’s cool how he really GETS the look of Spiderman. It is probably the best costume ever. That you could not take away anything from the costume and replace it with something else. Very smart and humble, really cool.
This is awesome.
I’m not much a fashion person, but putting it with comic books was really cool.
I think its cool what you guys said about the stark spider-man armor because when I read the civil war I felt like he was being manipulated.
PS My one complaint would be that your video was a little shaky. Were you using a tripod?
@CrazySexyGeeksSeries Okay you got me there.
Haha, anyway, you bring up a good point.
@DNAngel2009 – She is a counterpart of Supergirl from a parallel universe, hence the similar sounding name. As for generic names, there are also heroes named: Supergirl, Superman, Wonder Woman, Wonder Man, Power Man, Amazing Man, Mr. Terrific, Mr. Fantastic, Captain Marvel, Marvel Girl, Marvel Boy, Ms. Marvel, Power Boy, Wonder Girl and others. Just part of the kitchy fun of comics.
– Alan
“Power girl”? Most generic name EVER!
